OPPO Details 2025 Sustainability Gains and Inclusion Efforts

OPPO reports 2025 sustainability progress in Shenzhen on June 30, 2026, outlining emission cuts, greener packaging, digital inclusion features and global public welfare initiatives across more than 90 markets.

OPPO’s five‑pillar framework covered operations and compliance, environmental protection, employee care, virtuous innovation and ecosystem engagement. It completed life cycle assessments for 23 smartphone models. Recycled wastepaper made up about 43% of 2025 smartphone packaging materials.

Paper‑plastic materials from plant fibers and waste paper represented about 14% of smartphone packaging in Europe. Carbon emissions from OPPO’s own operations fell 1.22% in 2025. Scope 3 emissions across eleven categories fell 2.57% year on year.

Renewable electricity use at OPPO manufacturing bases rose nearly 70% in 2025. OPPO reported 118,000 patent applications and 66,000 patent grants by end‑2025. It optimised more than 30 ColorOS apps for accessibility.

ColorOS added tools such as TalkBack, Image Description, magnification, colour correction, colour inversion, speech‑to‑text and flash alerts for users with impairments. The OPPO Fitness Health Laboratory in Binhaiwan began operation as its largest sports health research base, focusing on exercise, cardiovascular, sleep and lifestyle management.

OPPO contributed over 37 million RMB to public welfare in 2025. It ran the “Culture in a Shot” initiative with Discovery Channel, expanded a tablet‑donation program with UNESCO in Asia and Africa, and supported sports charity projects via its UEFA partnership.
