Sony launches its Reon Pocket Pro Plus wearable thermo device kit in Malaysia on 22 June 2026, offering enhanced cooling efficiency and a new neckband design.
Sony said the Reon Pocket Pro Plus is the new flagship model in its wearable thermo device series and was available in Malaysia from 22 June 2026. The thermo device kit included a dedicated neckband and a Reon Pocket Tag 2 sensor.
The neckband used a newly developed “Adaptive Hold Design” with a larger mechanical flexible tubing diameter, which increased holding force by about 40% versus the previous model, according to Sony. The design aimed to keep the device stable and in contact with the body during walking or light activity.
An adjustable air vent cover allowed users to extend the exhaust length and change the angle to improve heat dissipation with different collar heights and clothing styles. Sony said this helped maintain cooling performance while keeping the device discreet.
The included Reon Pocket Tag 2 sensing device was about 18% smaller in volume than its predecessor, Sony reported. It replaced the rear clip with a strap hole and carabiner to attach to bags or belt loops for ambient temperature and humidity measurement.
Sony said the Reon Pocket series had been developed since 2019 to address varied lifestyle needs and would continue to use sensing and thermal technologies to improve personal comfort and support environmental sustainability. The Reon Pocket Pro Plus would be sold at Sony Store outlets at BBCC, IOI City Mall, The Curve and Sony Store Online in Malaysia.
