Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia introduces a complimentary limited-edition Huntsville Adamantium Dark rim upgrade for 50 Golf GTI units in Malaysia on July 1, 2026.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia said the 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels with a Y-spoke design were available only for 50 new Golf GTI units nationwide. The upgrade carried no additional cost to the car’s recommended retail price of RM255,990, subject to terms and conditions.

The company said the rims allowed a clearer view of the car’s red brake callipers. It added that Volkswagen’s global GTI 50 campaign marked the 50th anniversary of the GTI, first launched in Germany in 1976.

Volkswagen Malaysia said local activities for the GTI 50 campaign this year would include social media giveaways and activations at dealerships nationwide. It also promoted a Test Drive and Win contest running until July 12, 2026, for any Volkswagen model.

The company said customers who completed test drives by July 12, 2026, would stand a chance to win a limited-edition GTI Touch ‘n Go card. Test drives could be booked via its online test drive portal.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia said it was the official distributor of Volkswagen cars in Malaysia and was managed by Porsche Holding Salzburg, which operated in more than 30 markets.
