Canon Marketing Malaysia adds directors Quek Shio Chuan and Razaisyam Rashid to its EOS Filmmaker Programme 2026 in Shah Alam on July 6, 2026, to expand its filmmaker line-up.

Canon said the appointments increased its EOS Filmmaker line-up from three to five members.

The company said its EOS R System mirrorless cameras, RF lenses and Cinema EOS solutions supported the growing demand for video content across cinema, streaming, commercial productions and social media.

Quek is best known for his debut feature Guang (2018), Netflix’s The Ghost Bride and Nisha (2025), which topped the China box office.

Razaisyam’s works include CEO (2014), Pusaka (2019) and series Mandatori (2017); he has won Best Director at Anugerah Skrin 2016 and Anugerah Telenovela 2018.
