OPPO, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, launches its Reno16 smartphone series and OPPO Bubble companion device in Kuala Lumpur.
OPPO introduced the Reno16, Reno16 Pro and Reno16 F with unique back designs (for one of the colour options), a 6.7Ah battery and 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
The Reno16 Pro used a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super Platform and a display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate, while the Reno16 used a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform.
All three models have three cameras with optical image stabilisation, including one with approximately 3.5x optical zoom lens, one with a lens that has a wider field of view, and a 50MP, wider selfie camera.
Its ColorOS 16 has AI tools labelled as AI Snap Key (a newly designed smart shortcut to copy content), AI Mind Space (a built-in digital memory hub for captured content), AI Bill Manager (a smart expense-tracker), AI Mind Pilot (a place to ask a question and get answers from multiple AI models), AI Menu Translation (translated menus in foreign languages) and AI LinkBoost 4.0 (an intelligent network engin to maintain connectivity).
The Reno16 Pro 5G (12GB + 256GB) was priced at RM3,699, the Reno16 5G from RM2,699, and the Reno16 F 5G from RM1,999, with an online-exclusive RM1,899 eco-packaging option.
OPPO also introduced OPPO Bubble, a 35-gram magnetic AMOLED companion display that worked as a rear-camera monitor, remote viewfinder and customisable accessory via a dedicated app.
