Apple Secures Record 89 Primetime Emmy Award Nominations

Apple received 89 nominations across 15 programs for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, leading all networks in major drama and comedy categories, the Television Academy announced Thursday.

The comedy series Widow’s Bay led Apple’s nominations with 19 nods, followed by the freshman drama Pluribus with 18 nominations.

Shrinking secured 10 nominations, while Slow Horses and Margo’s Got Money Troubles received nine and eight nominations, respectively.

Nonfiction programs Mr. Scorsese and The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy also earned top category nominations.

The Television Academy announced the nominations on July 9, 2026, and will unveil the winners at a ceremony on September 14.
