Dorchester Collection announces the temporary closure of Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan beginning January 1, 2027, to undergo an extensive restoration project.

The hotel is expected to reopen in 2029. The initiative represents a significant investment as the property enters its centenary year.

The project will feature significantly enlarged guestrooms and suites alongside a limited collection of private residences. It will also introduce a spa, a wellness destination, dining venues, and a rooftop venue.

The hotel originally opened in 1927.
