Apple TV Schedules Crime Drama Nocturne Premiere October 30

Apple TV announces the global premiere of its 10-episode crime drama series Nocturne, starring Liev Schreiber and Zazie Beetz, scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026.

The streaming service will debut the first two episodes on the premiere date. Subsequent single episodes will air every Friday through December 25, 2026.

The series adapts Lars Kepler’s crime novels titled Lazarus and The Sandman. Rowan Joffé created the show, while John Hlavin serves as showrunner.

The plot follows an ex-soldier turned homicide detective, played by Schreiber, who relocates to western Pennsylvania and faces a serial killer portrayed by Stephen Graham.

A+E Studios and Range Studios produced the project. Tim Van Patten directed the initial two episodes and serves as an executive producer.
