World Gourmet launches the 8th World Top Gourmet Awards 2026 in Kuala Lumpur on July 23, 2026, introducing the Top Taste Award and supporting Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

Senior Deputy Director Tuan Azmi Abdullah and Master Chef Dr. Martin Yan officiated the press conference at the Andaman Grand Ballroom. Founded in 2017, World Gourmet introduced the Top Taste Award to recognise independent food and beverage products.

World Gourmet signed a Memorandum of Understanding with iFood founder Dicky Lee to promote the F&B industry through trade exhibitions and networking. The organization appointed Prof. Dato’ Chef Zamzani Abdul Wahab as World Gourmet Ambassador 2026.

The 8th World Top Gourmet Awards Gala Dinner was set for October 22, 2026, in Kuala Lumpur. The 9th edition was scheduled for November 21, 2026, in Guangzhou, China.
