OPPO introduces a 512GB Reno16 smartphone variant and a Pingu collaboration during an event in Kuala Lumpur on July 28, 2026.

The new 12+512GB Reno16 model launched at a price of RM3,499 across official online and offline retail channels. OPPO offered an RM200 introductory rebate, a gift box, and a one-year screen protection plan for purchases made by Aug. 16, 2026.

The smartphone feature set included a 3D Pop Planet design on the Pop White model powered by HoloVerse 3D Technology. Additional hardware features consisted of an Ultra-Clear Camera System alongside integrated artificial intelligence editing tools.

OPPO partnered with cartoon character Pingu to produce limited-edition branded merchandise. Customers purchasing OPPO Bubbles received an exclusive Pingu Bubble Case while supplies lasted.
