Proton launches the Proton e.MAS 5 electric vehicle in Nepal on August 3, 2026, through local distributor Jagdamba Motors.

Authorised distributor Jagdamba Motors unveiled the vehicle at a launch ceremony in Kathmandu. Nepal represents the second overseas market for the model following Singapore.

The vehicle secured approximately 200 bookings on its first day of launch. Jagdamba Motors offered the electric vehicle in Prime and Premium variants.
