Dell Technologies announced the release of its Dell Pro Essential 14 and Dell Pro Essential 15 laptops built for small business use on Wednesday, September 9.

The new laptop models feature designs that are 11% thinner and 9% to 16% lighter than the previous generation. They come in Celestial Blue and Platinum Silver.

The laptops offer keyboard shortcut keys, a 6% larger touchpad, 16:10 aspect ratio displays, and HD or FHD IR camera options. Display resolution options include FHD+ and 2.5K panels.

Configurations include Intel Core Series 3 or AMD Ryzen 200 Series processors, up to 64GB memory, and up to 1TB SSD storage. Intel models include an RJ-45 Ethernet port.

Security and durability features include a Trusted Platform Module, biometric login, a mechanical camera shutter, a security lock slot, and MIL-810H standard testing.

The products are EPEAT Gold Climate+ registered, ENERGY STAR certified, and shipped in packaging made from 100% recycled or renewable materials.

Both models are available in Malaysia.
