CAPE TOWN — 10.27 (Tuesday) — EDITION Hotels has launched its African debut with the opening of The Cape Town EDITION, a 142-room hotel at Quay 7 on the V&A Waterfront in South Africa.

Designed by Shanghai-based architecture firm Neri&Hu in collaboration with local Cape Town practices, the property features a long warehouse-inspired structure constructed with more than six million bricks.

The food and beverage programme is headed by Executive Chef Phil Carmichael and beverage partner George Hunter,featuring signature restaurant Shale alongside rooftop venue EAVE and the Punch Room.

Facilities include a subsurface spa, a rooftop pool, and event spaces anchored by a flexible ballroom.
