11.04 (WEDNESDAY) — IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed agreements for two new Holiday Inn properties in regional Australia, providing a combined total of 190 rooms.

Both properties will be operated by La Vie Hotels & Resorts in Tamworth, New South Wales, and Rockhampton,Queensland.

Holiday Inn Tamworth will refurbish the 60-room Best Western Sanctuary Inn by 2027, adding 30 rooms by 2029 to create a 90-room hotel.

Holiday Inn & Suites Rockhampton will be a new-build development featuring 100 guestrooms, including 40 suites, within a mixed-use precinct.

The Rockhampton property will also include 350sqm of conference and events space, a 100-seat function room, and an outdoor swimming pool.
