11.03 (TUESDAY) — The LEGO Group has unveiled the LEGO Ideas Godzilla building set, a 5,363-piece model standing 70 centimetres tall that will launch on 27 November.
The model, designated set 21375, is the largest product launched to date under the crowdsourced LEGO Ideas banner. It features a posable head, adjustable limbs, a sweeping tail, and a removable Heat Ray element.
New York-based fan designer Matthew Esposito created the initial concept, which reached the required 10,000 community votes before approval by the manufacturer’s review board for official production.
The set will go on sale at official brand stores and online for £349.99 GBP, €399.99 EUR, and $449.99 USD. Purchases made between 27 and 30 November include a supplementary 359-piece logo and footprint set.
