I first met Jefferson at the first Malaysian International Toy Fair, about a decade ago. It was the first designer toy even that I ever been to. It was a first for him too. And to think that after 10 years, folks that I met at that show are still chasing after their dreams and are still some of the best contacts for stories.

I am sorry that it took this long to feature him in the papers. Designer toys are beginning to catch on in Malaysia thanks to woks of the handful of heroes in the industry. But it is still an obscured form of art in the local consciousness.

We don’t know where whoever edited the story got the idea that Jefferson was 26. He is 36 and I removed all mentions of his age form the story I submitted.

When it comes to chasing one’s passion in art, I don’t think that age is all that important anyway.

According to Jefferson, he will hold an exhibition at Titik Merah Collective, a humble independent gallery located in TTDI. It has slowly become a favourite sport for local talents to showcase their artwork.
