Bigo Live and Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) distributed food and supplies to homeless individuals and low-income families in Kuala Lumpur on 13 April.
The “Rise & Raise” campaign raised RM10,000 for KSK through virtual gift donations during livestreams hosted by 10 platform creators. Bigo Live employees and 20 creators helped KSK prepare food and distribute it across seven areas, including the Medan Tuanku Homeless Centre.
KSK used the funds for hot meal distributions, food bank logistics, medical aid, and skills training programs. Bigo Live launched in March 2016 and is owned by Bigo Technology.
