Intel releases the Intel Core Series 3 mobile processors on April 16.
The company manufactured the processors using Intel’s 18A process technology.
The product line utilised the same foundations as the “Panther Lake” Intel Core Ultra Series 3.
According to Intel, these chips supported AI workloads with a capacity of “up to 40 platform TOPS.”
The hardware included integrated support for “Thunderbolt 4,” “Wi-Fi 7 (R2),” and “Bluetooth 6”.
The company claims that performance tests showed “up to 47% better single thread performance” compared to a five-year-old computer.
It also claimed that the processors used “up to 64% lower processor power” than previous “Intel Core 7 150U” models during specific streaming tests.
Original equipment manufacturers such as Acer, Asus, and HP launched laptops powered by the new chips. Edge computing systems powered by these processors became available in the second quarter of 2026.
