Proton launches X50 in Trinidad and Tobago

Proton said it launched the “All-New Proton X50,” a B-segment sport utility vehicle, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on April 17.

The company stated that this was the model’s second export market after its launch in Brunei in January.

Proton reported that its local distributor, ANSA Motors, hosted the launch event.

Proton said export sales reached “6,000 units” in 2025.

Proton said it planned to add new models, improve its distribution network, and increase export volume for both internal combustion engine and electric vehicle models in 2026.
