Samsung Electronics says it receives two gold and two silver awards at the Edison Awards 2026 in Fort Myers, Florida.

Samsung Electronics said the awards ceremony took place on April 15 and 16 in Fort Myers, Florida. The company said the honoured entries were Smart Modular House, Vision AI Companion, Spatial Signage, and Bespoke AI Laundry Combo. Samsung said Smart Modular House and Vision AI Companion received gold awards, while Spatial Signage and Bespoke AI Laundry Combo received silver awards.

According to Samsung, Smart Modular House uses AI-based architectural systems to connect the home environment, appliances, and users. Samsung said the system manages indoor conditions, device status, and energy use. Samsung said Vision AI Companion lets users ask about content, search for related information, and control playback with voice commands.

Samsung said Spatial Signage is a glasses-free 3D display that uses the company’s patented “3D Plate” technology. The company said the product has a “52 mm” profile on the 85-inch model only, and that thickness varies by display size. Samsung said the display is designed for retail stores, exhibitions, and entertainment venues. Samsung said the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo combines washing and drying in one unit. The company said the product includes a 7-inch touchscreen called Smart Screen and an AI Wash & Dry cycle that adjusts to fabric type and soil level.
