OPPO opens 2026 photo awards

OPPO said it has opened entries for the OPPO Photography Awards 2026 and added a new “Super Video” category, according to a company press release published April 21 in Shenzhen.

OPPO said the contest accepts entries from creators using OPPO, OnePlus, or realme devices and will remain open until 24:00 (UTC+8) on December 31. The company said the program includes six categories: Journey, Me, Live, Snap, “Super Video,” and “Super Zoom.”

According to OPPO, the 2026 awards include a total prize pool of 76,500USD across 38 awards or acknowledgements. OPPO said participants can compete for Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, as well as Honourable Mentions, Regional Awards, and an Audience Choice Award.

OPPO said it added “Super Video” as its first category dedicated to video and “Super Zoom” as a new category focused on zoom images.

The company said it also launched support programs for young creators. According to OPPO, these include a “Filmmaker Accelerator Program” with Discovery Channel, an “OPPO Imaging Academy” with tutorial videos, and an “OPPO Creators” program that offers exposure, event invitations, collaboration chances, and equipment support.

OPPO said submissions for the “Super Video” category can be made through Instagram and TikTok with the hashtags #SuperVideo and #ShotOnOPPO. The company said entries for the first monthly contest can be made on the official website or on Instagram with the hashtags #SuperEveryMoment and #ShotOnOPPO.

According to OPPO, the judging panel includes Tina Signesdottir Hult, Wang Jianjun, Vikram Channa, Zhu Jiong, Pete Lau, and Joy Cheng. OPPO said more details and submissions are available at https://lumo.oppo.com/en/.
