Ubisoft said Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launches on PlayStation 5 on July 9.

PlayStation Blog reported on April 23 that the remake keeps Edward Kenway, the Caribbean setting, and Jackdaw naval gameplay. The report said Matt Ryan returns as Kenway, alongside Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Charles Vane.

Ubisoft said the remake uses its latest Anvil engine and adds parkour, combat, stealth, story, character, and naval updates. Ubisoft staff said PlayStation 5 Pro support includes PSSR and expanded ray tracing.
