Arc Raiders update 1.26 adds upgraded PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution for PS5 Pro players on April 28, Embark Studios said.

Embark Studios said the upgrade improved image sharpness and stability. The studio said it reduced flickering, shimmer, motion artefacts, and ghosting on translucent effects without performance loss.

Engine Lead Robert Kihl said the update needed minimal content tuning across complex scenes. Technical Art Director Mikael Linderholm said the improved PSSR reduced visual noise in-game. Embark Studios said PS5 base model players continued to use TSR upscaling, which remained unchanged.
