PRO-NET said Proton e.MAS 5 debuted a Jade Green exterior, and its GMA platform made its first appearance in Northern Malaysia at the Penang Autoshow 2026 on April 30.

PRO-NET said Proton e.MAS 5 had delivered more than 8,000 units in 2026 and recorded a 64.2% market share in Northern Malaysia in March 2026. It said the event also featured the Emerald Green Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV.

PRO-NET said the GMA platform underpins its EV and PHEV lineup. It said visitors can test drive the Proton e.MAS 5, e.MAS 7, and e.MAS 7 PHEV from May 1 to May 3.

PRO-NET said its Golden Test Drive Campaign runs from April 13 to May 17. It said the campaign offers 30 units of 3g gold bars over five weeks.
