Huawei Digital Power launches FusionSolar9.0 in Malaysia, introducing a solar and storage system that the company said uses AI and grid-forming inverter technology.
On April 30 in Kuala Lumpur, Huawei Malaysia launched the FusionSolar9.0 Smart PV and ESS solution, according to a press release. Huawei said the system includes a grid-forming string inverter, a 1000-Vac PV system, and support for PV arrays up to 11 MW.
Huawei said its LUNA2000-241 energy storage system delivers up to 20% higher energy yields and 91.3% round-trip efficiency. The press release stated the system can raise energy output by about 1%, improve fault detection by more than 50%, and save up to 300,000USD over 25 years.
Huawei said in the press release that Malaysia’s renewable energy sector is expected to add RM220 billion to GDP and create up to 310,000 jobs by 2050.
