Honda Malaysia said it extends hybrid battery and selected component warranty coverage to 10 years with unlimited mileage from May 1.

Honda Malaysia said the updated coverage applies to new e:HEV purchases from May 1, 2026. The company said the models include City e:HEV, City Hatchback e:HEV, HR-V e:HEV, Civic e:HEV, and New CR-V e:HEV.

Honda Malaysia said existing e:HEV owners and previous i-DCD owners also receive the extension. The company said battery coverage increases from 8 to 10 years, while selected components increase from 5 to 10 years.

Honda Malaysia said second-hand e:HEV and i-DCD owners remain eligible after ownership transfers. The company said coverage stays valid until the 10th year, subject to warranty terms and conditions.
