ASUS Announces ROG NUC 16

ASUS Republic of Gamers announced the ROG NUC 16 in Taipei, Taiwan, on May 15, 2026.

ASUS said the compact gaming PC is powered by up to an Intel Core ARL-HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. The company said it supports up to 128GB of DDR5-6400 memory.

ASUS stated the ROG NUC 16 supports NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 with ML-based Super Resolution and Multi-frame generation. It said the system delivers up to 2.3% better 3DMark performance than its predecessor.

For AI workloads, ASUS said the ROG NUC 16 delivers up to 1334 AI TOPS. The company said the GPU includes 16GB of dedicated GDDR7 memory.

ASUS said the ROG NUC 16 uses QuietFlow Cooling with three fans and a dual-vapour-chamber design. It stated that CPU thermal coverage increased by 12% compared to the previous generation.

The company said a dedicated SSD heatsink lowers operating temperatures from 72°C to 59°C compared with a system without a heatsink. ASUS said the system operates at just under 38 dBA under full workloads.

ASUS said the ROG NUC 16 includes a patented removable stand for vertical or horizontal placement. The company also announced a Moonlight White Edition.
