Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast entered a year-long partnership with Shüe Guitars in Desaru Coast, Johor, in May 2026.

The hotel said Shüe Guitars will create five custom electric guitars for the resort. The guitars will be introduced through the hotel’s Sound of Your Stay – Picks programme.

The programme allows guests to request a guitar delivered to their room for private use during their stay.

The hotel said Shüe Guitars will also develop a one-of-one Pinktober edition for its annual breast cancer awareness campaign in October.

The collaboration will include live showcases, masterclasses, youth outreach sessions, community workshops and digital storytelling campaigns throughout 2026. The initiative also launches the hotel’s Local Legends, Global Stage platform.

Founded in Kuala Lumpur, Shüe Guitars is known for handcrafted custom instruments. The press release said the company uses Malaysian tonewoods in its guitars.
