Dorchester Hotel and Italian fashion house La DoubleJ unveil a summer garden installation in Mayfair, London, launched May 20, 2026, featuring bold design, kinetic sculptures and a new menu.

Dorchester Hotel in London collaborated with La DoubleJ to reinterpret its summer garden as an extension of Vesper Bar, using bold prints, layered textiles and sculptural elements in Mayfair. 

The garden featured tree-high kinetic sculptures by American sculptor Lyman Whitaker, La DoubleJ’s Napoli Rosa print across carpets and tableware, and patterned linens, green glassware, sculptural vases, cushions and parasols.

The menu was designed by culinary director Martyn Nail. It features small plates such as swordfish crudo, courgette flower fritti with grilled prawns, and morsetti di lasagne, plus signature focaccia sandwiches. An off-menu toasted focaccia wrap with crispy chicken and burrata, topped with Oscietra caviar, was available.

The installation and menu were scheduled to run until September 2026. The project followed a four-year renovation of the hotel, culminating in the Royal Suite’s unveiling in June 2026.
