Samsung Electronics says it will roll out a Samsung Health app update on June 8 for the upcoming Galaxy Watch, adding AI-based health tracking and personalised wellness insights.
The company said the update added four new health features: Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load and Fitness Index. It said the features translated overnight and daily biometric data into actionable guidance.
Samsung said Samsung Health also introduced a redesigned layout built around five categories: Sleep, Activity, Nutrition, Mindfulness and Vitals. It said the Home screen now showed wellness tips alongside the Energy Score.
The company said it upgraded existing features, including Antioxidant Index and AGEs index. It also introduced a Hearing Health feature that monitored ambient noise through Galaxy Watch.
Samsung said the new health features were for wellness only and not for diagnosing or treating medical conditions. It said availability could vary by market, model and other factors.
