CJ 4DPLEX announces Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” will screen in ScreenX format in Malaysia from June 22, 2026 at selected Golden Screen Cinemas locations.

CJ 4DPLEX said the film was “Shot for ScreenX” using its 270-degree panoramic cinema format. The company worked with director Destin Daniel Cretton and Sony Pictures from on-set production through theatrical exhibition.

The ScreenX version will be available at Golden Screen Cinemas’ ScreenX locations Aurum Theatre, The Exchange TRX and GSC 1 Utama in Malaysia. CJ 4DPLEX stated that ScreenX expands select scenes beyond the main screen onto side walls.

Advance tickets for the ScreenX presentation are now on sale via GSC’s app and website. The company said the enhanced presentation will run for a limited time in select ScreenX auditoriums in Malaysia and internationally.
