Golden Screen Cinemas will officially launch its sixth nationwide IMAX with Laser Hall at GSC IOI Mall Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, on July 16, 2026.

The new hall features 4K laser projection technology and a 12-channel sound system. The setup provides sharper images, increased brightness, greater contrast, and an expanded colour range.

Upcoming movie titles scheduled for the new format include The Odyssey, The End of Oak Street, and Resident Evil.

GSC is offering an opening promotional ticket price of RM28.50, reduced from the original price of RM36.50. GSC Rewards members receive complimentary tickets based on their Silver, Gold, or Platinum membership tiers.

The first 3,000 customers will receive triple GSCoins. Purchases of tickets for The Odyssey include limited-edition A3 posters and metal pins while stocks last.
