Insta360 and Bambu Lab launch the MakerWorld Luna Ultra Design Challenge to develop accessories and concepts for Insta360’s dual-lens 8K gimbal camera.

The competition offers over US$11,000 in total prizes. Insta360 released official 3MF and STL files to assist participants with camera measurements.

Participants can enter the Model Design Challenge by uploading 3D-printed accessory designs to MakerWorld. Alternatively, the Social Content Challenge accepts ideas shared across specified social media platforms using designated hashtags.

Prizes include Luna Ultra bundles, Bambu Lab X2D and A2L combos, gift cards, and store coupons. Organisers may select one concept for commercial product development.

The submission period runs from July 10 to August 9, 2026. Organisers will announce the final winners on August 20, 2026.
