IHG Hotels and Resorts opens the 223-room Holiday Inn Express Sapporo Susukino in Sapporo, Japan, marking the brand’s first hotel on the island of Hokkaido on July 18, 2026.

The new property represents the second Holiday Inn Express hotel in Japan and the first nationwide to feature the brand’s Generation 5 design concept.

The facility contains 223 rooms, a fitness centre, self-service laundry machines, and the Express Café, which provides a complimentary breakfast daily. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

The property is situated in the Susukino entertainment district. It stands within a five-minute walk from the Susukino Subway Station and near Odori Park.
