Garmin Malaysia introduces the Forerunner 70 and Forerunner 170 GPS running smartwatches featuring 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen displays and health tracking tools.

The Forerunner 70 provides built-in GPS, wrist-based heart rate monitoring, adaptive Garmin Coach training plans, daily suggested workouts, and over 80 sports applications. It offers up to 13 days of battery life in smartwatch mode.

The Forerunner 170 adds Garmin Pay contactless payments, while the Forerunner 170 Music edition supports phone-free music downloads from third-party services. Both 170 models provide up to 10 days of battery life in smartwatch mode.

Both smartwatch series will be available in Malaysia starting May 29, 2026. Suggested retail pricing is set at RM1,119 for the Forerunner 70, RM1,349 for the Forerunner 170, and RM1,549 for the Forerunner 170 Music.
