Apple TV premiered the season two trailer for sci-fi thriller “Dark Matter” during a San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panel featuring the cast and creative team.

The 10-episode second season premieres globally on Apple TV on Friday, August 28, 2026, releasing new episodes weekly through October 30, 2026.

Based on Blake Crouch’s novel, season two stars Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, Oakes Fegley, and Amanda Brugel.

Sony Pictures Television produced the series, with Crouch serving as creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer alongside Edgerton, Connelly, Matt Tolmach, Richard Lederer, and Jacquelyn Ben-Zekry.

Apple TV also announced “Dark Matter: The Official Podcast,” hosted by Crouch and Ben-Zekry, which will release companion episodes alongside the television series.
