GoRental Global deployed 82 portable battery energy storage systems to power Outdoor Expo Malaysia 2026 from August 7–9, earning an Asian Record and ASEAN Record.

The deployment supplied an estimated 992.16 kWh of energy across 48 open-air booths over 36 operating hours at Titiwangsa Stadium.

GoRental estimated that the battery systems avoided 297.65 litres of diesel and 803.65 kg of CO₂e compared to conventional diesel generator baselines.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Federal Territories Hannah Yeoh presented the record recognition to GoRental Managing Director Colin Peh on August 9.

GoRental stated that its battery systems can reduce temporary power costs by up to 30% compared to conventional diesel generator setups.
