Samsung Malaysia and Universiti Malaya announced the top 10 semi-finalist student teams advancing in the eighth Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition on August 17, 2026.
Judges from Universiti Malaya selected the semi-finalists based on originality, feasibility, and impact across four key themes: Environmental Sustainability, Sport and Technology, Health, and Education.
The semi-finalist teams represent secondary schools in Selangor, Sabah, Pulau Pinang, Pahang, Sarawak, and Perak.
Participants will attend a Design Thinking Workshop, develop working prototypes, and compete in a Grand Finale for Samsung products worth up to RM114,000.
