Oppo has released a software update for ColorOS 16 featuring customizable lockscreen options, new camera filters, and system performance optimisations on August 19, 2026.

The update adds customizable fingerprint unlock animations and icon styles, alongside two native camera filters named Primrose and Bold B&W.

System upgrades include real-time Contact Poster previews, improved transition animations for multitasking, and a backup face option for device unlocking.

The camera filters are supported across select Find and Reno series smartphone models, including the Find X8 and Reno15 lines.
