Crowne Plaza Opens Manhattan Times Square Flagship Hotel In New York

Crowne Plaza by IHG officially opened the 685-room Crowne Plaza Manhattan Times Square hotel as its new Americas flagship property on Wednesday, September 2.

The 22-story hotel was developed by Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company and is managed by Highgate.

The property repurposes a landmark building originally constructed for the 1964 New York World’s Fair.

Amenities include all-day dining at Fifty-First Street Social, a 24/7 Marketplace, flexible meeting spaces, and upper-floor Manhattan Level suites.

Crowne Plaza plans to add more than 36,000 rooms globally to expand its existing footprint by over 35%.
