Apple Original Films unveiled the trailer for its upcoming mountaineering documentary film “The Last First: Winter K2” ahead of its October 2, 2026 global release.

Directed by Amir Bar-Lev, the documentary examines a 2021 winter K2 expedition made by mountaineers John Snorri Sigurjónsson, Ali Sadpara, and Sajid Sadpara.

The feature focuses on the extreme mountain climbing industry, detailing interactions between traditional party members, film crews, commercial clients, and a Nepalese expedition team.

Propagate Content, Object Studios, and Ventureland produced the film, with executive producers including James Packer, Will Kane, Drew Buckley, and director Amir Bar-Lev.
