Canon Inc. and Canon Marketing Japan Inc. announced on September 15 that Canon will provide photographer and broadcaster technical support for the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya.

Canon will operate photographer support facilities at the Main Press Centre and Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium. The Main Press Centre location will mark the largest support facility of its kind at the Games.

Under its “Zero Downtime” vision, Canon will offer camera maintenance, repair services, and free equipment loans to accredited photographers. Available gear will include the EOS R1 mirrorless camera, EOS R5 Mark II, and super-telephoto lenses.

Canon technicians will also inspect broadcast lenses at venues and deliver technical support for broadcast production systems at the International Broadcasting Centre.
