IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with American Express to offer status matches and cashback benefits to cardholders in Mainland China.

The partnership allows eligible American Express Platinum Cardmembers to match their status to IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite through 31 December 2027. Benefits include 60% bonus points, room upgrades, and late check-out. Completing 10 qualifying nights extends status through 31 December 2028.

Cardmembers spending at least RMB 1,800 at participating IHG properties using an American Express card receive RMB 370 cashback until 31 December 2026. The cashback applies to select luxury brands in Greater China, Australia, Japan, and Singapore.
