OPPO said it announced the Find X9 Ultra globally on April 21 in Kuala Lumpur as its new flagship smartphone focused on camera features.
OPPO said the phone includes a 50MP 10x optical telephoto camera, two 200MP rear cameras, 4K and 8K video recording, and a 6.82-inch 144Hz QHD+ AMOLED display. The company said the device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, a 7.05Ah battery, 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. OPPO said the phone runs ColorOS 16 and includes features it calls Live Space, AI Mind Space, AI Bill Manager, AI Mind Pilot, and AI Menu Translation.
According to OPPO, the phone will be available for pre-order in Malaysia through its official and authorised channels until May 7. The company said the 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM model costs RM6,799 and the 16GB RAM + 1TB ROM model costs RM7,799. OPPO said both versions come in Umber and Orange.
OPPO said it designed the phone with Hasselblad branding and camera accessories, including an Explorer Case and a 300mm Explorer Teleconverter. The company said the device has IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings under laboratory test conditions.
OPPO’s senior vice president and chief product officer, Pete Lau, said the company developed the device in collaboration with Hasselblad.
