OPPO says it announced the Find X9s in Malaysia on April 21, featuring a 3-camera 50MP rear, a 7.025Ah battery, and AI features.
The company said the device was developed with Hasselblad and targeted users who create travel content.
According to OPPO, the phone has three rear cameras, each with a 50MP sensor. The company said the main camera has optical image stabilisation, another has a 3x periscope telephoto lens, and another has a 120-degree field-of-view lens. OPPO said the phone also supports 4K 60fps video recording with Dolby Vision HDR on all cameras.
OPPO said the device supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging. The company said the battery would retain more than 80% of its original capacity after five years of use, based on data from OPPO laboratories.
According to OPPO, the Find X9s uses a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and runs ColorOS 16. The company said the phone includes AI features such as AI Menu Translation, AI Mind Pilot, AI Bill Manager, and AI Motion Photo Popout.
OPPO said the Find X9s has a 6.59-inch display, measures 7.99mm thick, and carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. The company said the device also received Swiss SGS five-star certification for drop and bump resistance.
According to OPPO, the Find X9s with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at RM3,899 in Malaysia. The company said pre-orders run from April 21 to May 7 through its official and authorised distribution channels. OPPO said buyers during the pre-order period would receive a RM300 instant rebate, a gift box, and the option to purchase a one-year screen protection plan for RM89.
OPPO said the phone comes in Grey, Orange, and Purple, with the last colour available only through OPPO Malaysia’s official online store.
