Nintendo said a free demo for FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 before the game’s June 3 launch.

Nintendo announced it on April 28. The source text stated players can experience the game through the end of Chapter 2, “A New Journey Begins.”

Nintendo said players who do not proceed to the Mythril Mine can return to earlier areas and keep exploring. Nintendo stated demo save data transfers to the full game if players have not created full-game save data first.

Nintendo said players with demo save data can obtain the kupo charm and survival set. The source text stated SQUARE ENIX will release the full game on June 3.
