Village Grocer opens a new store at KL Met Galleria in Kuala Lumpur on April 30, according to a press statement.

The press statement said the store is located on Lower Ground 1 at The Marketplace and operates daily from 10.00am to 10.00pm. The source text said the outlet sells produce, meat, seafood, deli items, organic food, and imported house-brand products.

The press release said Village Grocer offered opening promotions and BITES member rewards from April 30 to May 31. It stated that the store uses a plastic-free checkout policy and asks shoppers to bring their own bags.

Naza TTDI Chief Operating Officer Azman Ibrahim said the store serves as an anchor tenant in KL Met Galleria. The Food Purveyor Group Executive Director Ivan Tan said the opening supports the company’s Kuala Lumpur expansion.
