Activate announced on May 6 the opening of its first Malaysian location in Kuala Lumpur with Kara Holdings.

Activate stated that the venue opened in Pavilion Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur. Activate said the 1,300-square-meter site has 12 game rooms and more than 800 levels.

Kara Holdings Chief Executive Officer Robin Lim said the company brought Activate to Malaysia for the first time. Activate said the games are designed for teams of two to five players.

Activate stated it launched in Canada in 2019 and now operates more than 70 locations worldwide. Activate said it plans to open 30 more locations in 2026 and expand in Southeast Asia, including Singapore.
