PROTON said April sales reached 18,156 units, bringing 2026 sales to 67,298 units, up 40.9% from the same period in 2025.

PROTON said its year-to-date market share was forecast at 26.4%. It said the April market share was expected to be 25%.

PROTON said Malaysian total industry volume rose 17.7% in April from a year earlier. It said year-to-date industry volume increased 1.8%.

PROTON said Saga sales rose 50.9% from March to 8,207 units in April. It said Saga year-to-date sales reached 29,977 units, up 42.8% from 2025.

PROTON said S70 sales reached 2,377 units in April. It said year-to-date S70 sales totalled 8,175 units, up 32.3%.

PROTON said X50 sales reached 2,603 units in April. It said year-to-date X50 sales totalled 10,174 units.

PROTON said X90 sales rose 43% in April to 462 units. It said X90 sales were up 28.1% year over year.

PROTON said its e.MAS unit sold 3,420 EV and PHEV vehicles in April. It said year-to-date e.MAS sales reached 11,664 units.

PROTON said e.MAS 5 sales reached 1,771 units in April. It said year-to-date e.MAS 5 sales totalled 8,473 units.

PROTON said e.MAS 7 sales reached 636 units in April. It said year-to-date e.MAS 7 sales totalled 1,436 units.

PROTON said e.MAS 7 PHEV sales reached 1,013 units in April. It said year-to-date e.MAS 7 PHEV sales totalled 1,755 units.
