Proton e.MAS said it recorded more than 760 sales engagements at the Penang Autoshow 2026 in Northern Malaysia.

Proton e.MAS said the engagements included test drives, leads and bookings during the three-day event. It stated that more than 200 owners and family members attended, alongside over 80 owners.

Proton e.MAS said 30 vehicles joined an owner-led convoy across the Penang Second Bridge to the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre. It stated the convoy included the e.MAS 5, e.MAS 7 and e.MAS 7 PHEV.

The company said Penang accounted for 64.2% of the EV market share year-to-date. It announced roadshow stops at AEON Melaka from May 19 to 24 and East Coast Mall, Pahang, from June 24 to 28.
